My laptop has been such a major letdown these days. It freaking died on me in the midst of all the stupid assignments and exams. & I'm too broke to get it fixed. Financially burdened by school fees. The urge to take up part-time nursing during my off days is overwhelming. But then again, if I were to cut down on unnecessary spending (like, you know, cabs) I can surely get through this tough times with ease. 

I still have ongoing plans to travel at the end of the year (despite being so, so broke haha). God-willing, I might probably be going Vietnam in Dec, and then to Genting w the family right after. I kinda am having second thoughts about Vietnam though because the only thing there that I'm attracted to is the red & white sand dunes. Has anyone been there before? Mind sharing your itinerary w me? Please. Thank you in advanced.

So, it's:

1) Vietnam somewhere btwn 10-13th Dec,
2) Genting 16-19th Dec,
3) China, Xian (again!!) somewhere in mid-feb'16,
4) Bandung (again too!) somewhere in June'16,
5) China, Harbin in Dec'16.

I have two more empty slots of leave in '16 and I don't know where else to go. Any suggestions?

So it’s been about 2 months and a week since husband’s voyage. Sure doesn’t get any easier the second time round, but one sure gets more prepared with the experience gained from the first. Not much of anxiety because we already knew what to expect, but how do you shake off this feeling of … I don’t even have the words to describe it. Chosen a random photo just for this post because, why not? It's been about more than a year and a half since we got married and I am so, so blessed and grateful for this wonderful life. Not saying married life is anyth but perf but really, we are still a work in progress. & if Allah wills it, may we have a long, happy and healthy life ahead of us. My dear husband, thank you for working so hard for us. There are times when you have to be away for long periods of time and I know that it is the way it has to be for years down the road. It is the path you have chosen to take way before you even met me, and I respect your choice and the reason behind it. I truly admire you for your courage and bravery. (photo credit: Photowall ) Life has been treating me well lately. I mean ofc there are the usual ups and downs but Alhamdulillah it's all manageable. Here's a summary of things that has happened this 2024. January   Celebrated our third Wedding Anniversary! Husband brought us to a roadtrip to Kuantan. Have I told ya'll how much I loveeeee roadtrips? And Kuantan's just the perfect spot cos Second Brother brought us there sometime last year and I absolutely fell in love with the place. It's super laidback, not crowded, food is great (note: tempoyak!) and the resort of choice, Grand Hyatt is just gorgeous. So back to our Anni trip. There was a huge flood enroute and there were so many cars that stopped cos they weren't able to pass through. But Husband was confident that our car could, so he drove past it.
